Our new field is done and we would like to thank Russ Jensen for the time and effort that he put into our field. We would like to give special thanks the Carbon County Commissioners, Rhonda Peterson, and all of the people that took part in the preparation of the field, without them we would not have the greatest RC airport in Utah.

About Us:
The Desert Wings R/C Flying Club:
We're an AMA chartered club (charter #4322) and are based in Price, Utah, right smack in the middle of an area affectionately known as "Castle Country". We have members from several locations around the Castle Country area. Our flying field is a part of the Carbon County fairgrounds. It boasts a large paved runway, a helicopter pad, and a generous pit area (with shade structures). As well as an impound, running water, and power.
Membership costs are $30.00 per year, We ask that anyone who uses (or plans on using) the field more than just a few times becomes a member. Club meetings are typically held the first Thursday of each month.
We always welcome visiting pilots, and have a nice spectator area set up with bleachers as well. If it's a Saturday morning, and the weather is good, there's a very good chance that we will be there. Come out and visit us.
If you're going to be visiting (or for club members looking to buy a new radio), to see a chart showing our most commonly used frequencies, click here (opens in a new window.)
